This school year was special for debating at THG! We tried out something new: Juniors and seniors went on tour together!
In November, we travelled to Schwäbisch Hall for two days of intensive training. Debates, workshops and games helped students from year 7 to 12 to learn from each other, to be able to listen to full debates, to get immediate individual feedback and – most importantly – to have fun… Unsurprisingly, during this year’s season, juniors and seniors were able to win several rounds during DSG junior and senior league.
Teachers as well as students all agreed that we benefitted from the trip and that this is not to be a single event but to be repeated in the years to come…
